Overview:

Join our dynamic team as a Certified Electrician! We are seeking an experienced electrical professional who can provide high-quality residential electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services. In this role, you will use your electrical expertise and diagnostic skills to identify issues, recommend solutions, and complete work safely and efficiently. This position also requires strong customer service skills and the ability to educate homeowners while providing professional, solution-based recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Installations, Maintenance, and Repairs: Diagnose, troubleshoot, install, maintain, and repair residential electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, equipment, and components. Ensure all work is completed properly and efficiently.
• Customer Interaction and Sales: Deliver exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with homeowners regarding their electrical needs. Educate customers on recommended solutions, explain the value of repairs and upgrades, and provide estimates for electrical work when appropriate.
• Electrical Code Compliance: Perform all electrical work in accordance with applicable electrical codes, company standards, manufacturer specifications, and safety requirements.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service calls, repairs, installations, materials used, recommendations, and customer interactions.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and applicable regulations to maintain a safe work environment for yourself, your team, and customers.
• Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other electricians, technicians, installers, and team members to complete projects efficiently and provide an excellent customer experience.
• Learning and Development: Stay current with electrical codes, technology, products, diagnostic methods, and industry best practices through ongoing training and professional development.

Qualifications:
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of residential electrical experience. Residential customer service and/or sales experience is highly preferred.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems, excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
• Certification/Licensing: Valid electrician certification or license as required by applicable local and state regulations.
• Driver's License: Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets company requirements.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to work in a variety of residential environments, including attics, crawl spaces, garages, and areas at heights. Must have the physical stamina and dexterity to frequently lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Must be eligible to obtain a Home Improvement Salesperson (HIS) license through the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB) once hired.
• Must be willing to undergo a background check, drug screen, physical, and lift test.

Work Environment:

Work in field environments across residential job sites, climbing ladders and navigating uneven surfaces. Regularly works in confined spaces and moves materials up to 50 pounds. Operates hand and power tools and vehicles. Must be able to see, hear, and exchange accurate information with customers and team members. Regular exposure to outdoor weather, noise, and dust.
