Job description
Location: Manhattan, NYC++ Developer with Java and AWS basics is what we are looking for.Most important skills, in decreasing order of importance:- C++ Developer, Java, Spring and Spring Boot; Maven/Gradle, AWS (We will have more response with AWS)
- Knowledge of data structures and algorithm, concurrent programming experience
- Experience with streaming computations and message passing
- Apache Flink
- General SQL; InfluxDB specifically would be nice.
- Kafka (preferably) or other queuing technologiesGeneral skills that would be useful:
- 3 to 5 years hands on experience in designing, building and implementing Microservices, REST APIs, in AWS
- At least one C++ programmer (for normalization / ENS)
- AWS in general; More specifically: S3, Lambda, ECS
- DevOps: Git, Jenkins, CloudFormation, CodePipeline
- General Bash, Python skills
- Caching technologies, e.g. Elasticache, Redis
- Perhaps elasticsearch
- Nice-to-have:
- Experience with TR/Refinitiv data sets and data formats (Elektron real-time, RWF, UPA, DataScope Select, etc.)
- Knowledge of market data, exchanges, financial terms, etc.
- Experience with TR/Refinitiv business processes (e.g. ServiceNow)
Education/Certifications: BS in Computer Science or similar degree
