Full Job Description
Bylaw Compliance Officer - Full Time

The City of Revelstoke is seeking a qualified individual to fill the full-time position of Bylaw Compliance Officer. Reporting to the Manager of Development Services and Bylaw Compliance Supervisor, the Bylaw Compliance Officer performs inspection and regulatory work related to compliance and the enforcement of a variety of regulatory bylaws and responds to public complaints. The position also involves animal control regulations (Animal Control, Wildlife Attractant Bylaws), and care and handling of impounded animals. The work involves considerable public relations contact and requires good customer service skills to respond and resolve issues with tact, diplomacy, and confidentiality.

Standard hours of work are between 6:00 am and 10:00 pm.
