Full Job Description
Position: Buyer II - AMZ11754.7

Location: North Reading, MA

Multiple Positions Available:

Support the GA Procurement team in the supply and inventory

management of electronic components, mechanical hardware

and assemblies from our global partners in support of

manufacturing, engineering projects, and deployments.

Work collaboratively with multiple business functions in a team

environment.

Purchase materials and equipment from suppliers including

electro-mechanical assemblies, electronic components, PCB

assemblies, hardware, and non-inventory items.

Plan material requirements, managing inventory levels, managing

schedules in our ERP system, and successfully communicating

these requirements to our suppliers.

Identify supply chain material risks and provide transparent

monitoring of material flow.

Work collaboratively with Planning to communicate supply chain

risks and mitigation strategies to the end users.

Develop efficient and accurate mechanisms for monitoring and

updating open purchase orders, expedites, delivery requirements.

Support supplier performance and metrics management,

including providing inputs to monthly scorecards and presenting

procurement data during quarterly business reviews.

Support the Global Commodity Management team with

maintaining supplier relationships, monitoring supplier

performance, addressing supply issues, and developing new

products and programs.

Resolve PO receiving errors and assisting with invoice

reconciliation.

Manage supplier returns including non-conformance reports,

return material authorizations, and processing MR

(40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $76315 - $128300)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration,

Operations, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline, and one

year of purchasing or supply chain experience in an operations or

manufacturing environment.

In the alternative, a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business

Administration, Operations, Supply Chain Management or a related

discipline, and three years of purchasing or supply chain experience in

an operations or manufacturing environment.

One year of experience required in each of the following:

1. Managing and executing on procurement needs for new product

introduction programs.

2. Working with ERP or PLM systems, such as Oracle EBS or Agile.

3. Working with Tableau analytics.

4. Six Sigma Certification or Six Sigma/Lean Certification.

The pay range for this position in North Reading, MA is $76315 - $128300 (yr); however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
