Job Description

Serves as a senior liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to analyze business processes, define solution requirements, lead system implementations, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across enterprise applications. Provides leadership for medium-to-large projects, facilitates stakeholder alignment, and recommends technology solutions that improve operational efficiency and support strategic business objectives.

1. Provide business analysis and technical support for ERP, Quality and ancillary data collection systems that are integrated with ERP and Quality Systems.

2. Apply broad working knowledge of ERP / Quality system standards, technologies, and methodologies to the definition and implementation of business systems or functions.
  • Consult and interface with division management to define and document system objectives.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, and validate business, functional, and system requirements.
  • Develop process maps, use cases, functional specifications, and other analysis artifacts supporting solution delivery.
  • Analyze current-state and future-state business processes and identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and continuous improvement.
  • Determine program specifications or processes to achieve stated requirements.
  • Test programs or system processes for adherence to stated requirements.
  • Research the output requirements and business transactions to identify source data, processing logic, data security needs, system controls, and interfaces related to planning, program specifications, and system operation.
  • Analyze business and operational data to identify trends, process inefficiencies, and opportunities for improved decision making.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to define key performance indicators and reporting requirements.
  • Document the implemented system to include a reference manual for the system and the required business practices/procedures.
  • Provide appropriate levels of training for system users.

3. Develop project plans and manage project execution.
  • Lead medium-to-large application and business process improvement initiatives from requirements gathering through implementation and post-production support.
  • Coordinate project activities among business stakeholders, technical resources, vendors, and third-party partners.
  • Manage medium-to-large projects.
  • Schedule and conduct project meetings with users and management.
  • Direct subsystem activities that include consulting, design review, status reporting, implementation reviews and acceptance of results.
  • Define issues, develop alternatives, determine impacts, and make recommendations.
  • Prepare and present project proposals.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews and reports variances.
  • Evaluate implemented solutions to ensure intended business benefits are achieved and identify opportunities for further optimization.

4. Consult with Business and MIS Management on strategic directions.
  • Partner with business leadership to develop technology roadmaps and recommend solutions aligned with organizational strategy.
  • Provide subject matter expertise regarding enterprise systems, integrations, reporting solutions, and business process improvements.

5. Contribute to the applications development standards and procedures at the department and division level.

6. Off-shift and weekend application and systems support.
  • Support change management activities including stakeholder communications, user acceptance testing, training, and user adoption efforts.


QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of business application design, implementation, integration, and support including HR, manufacturing, quality, finance, data collection, EDI, and cloud-based ETL solutions.
  • Seven to ten years of experience in business systems analysis, enterprise application support, ERP implementations, and business process improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience leading medium-to-large cross-functional projects.
  • Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
  • Experience facilitating workshops, stakeholder meetings, and requirements sessions.
  • Experience supporting ERP, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related business processes within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience supporting enterprise ERP platforms in manufacturing environments strongly preferred.
  • Experience in project management approaches in a complex manufacturing environment. Ability to execute projects with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of the following environments or software:
    • ERP systems
    • Enterprise integrations and APIs
    • Cloud-based business applications
    • Business intelligence and reporting platforms
    • SQL databases
    • ETL and data integration technologies
    • Databases: Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, MS SQL
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies, integration technologies, and modern programming frameworks.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Confidentiality and ability to discern how and when information should be shared.
  • Ability to support critical business operations and respond to high-priority issues when necessary.
  • Ability to be flexible with shifting business priorities.
