Work ScheduleThis is a full-time, exempt (salaried) position assigned to a First Shift schedule, with standard business hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Business needs may occasionally require flexibility in work hours, including earlier, later, or additional hours, with reasonable notice provided when possible.
Responsibilities- Lead the elicitation of requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use case scenarios and workflow analysis.
- Serve as a primary IT Business Analyst on medium to large complex projects.
- Successfully engages in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Able to document business requirements in Use Case and User Story format.
- Ability to support both Agile Scrum, Waterfall SDLC, AIDLC
- Experienced with writing requirement Acceptance Criteria
- Demonstrates ability to collaborate and clearly communicate with internal stakeholders in and outside of IT on requirements, requirement efficiencies, requirement priority and delivered value.
- Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with internal stakeholders to analyze information needs, functional requirements, use cases, and user/system interface designs as required.
- Generate GAP analysis and current and future state end to end process flows, and data flow diagrams.
- Develop requirements specifications according to and using the defined requirement process, tools, as governed by SOP and project guidelines. Top Team Analyst, JIRA, Confluence,
- Generate software screen mock-up and prototypes.
- Fosters good working relationships with all departments while managing business expectation levels.
- Provide input into Test Plan creation and support test plan validation as required for QA.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and effectively utilize complex Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), including logging, tracking, and processing samples within Quality Assurance (QA) environments
- Experience or familiarity with EDI transactions and HL7 file transport standards, including troubleshooting, monitoring, and supporting data interface processes.
- Knowledge of LIMS data structures, data relationships, and workflow-driven data models, with the ability to analyze, document, and support laboratory business processes, reporting, and system integrations.
- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from underlying true needs.

Minimum Qualifications- Four or more years of experience as an IT Business Analyst in a commercial Oncology laboratory space.
- Five or more years of experience with laboratory experience.
- Bachelor's Degree.
Preferred Qualifications- Two or more years working as a Business Analyst on a large-scale Lab Information Management transformation project.
Additional Job Standards - May lead weekly vendor management meetings, generates weekly vendor report for the review of vendor tickets for status and action to resolve.
- May participate in vendor release scheduling and planning of Software hot fixes, System File build and Configuration synchs between LCA IT supported environments: SB, Dev, QA, Production.
- Takes point to review IT Central production tickets, assess for root cause analysis, and redirect as needed to correct teams.
