Full Job Description
The Business Solutions Technical and Sales Training position is responsible for developing and delivering technical and sales enablement training that accelerates sales productivity, strengthens solution knowledge, improves overall sales performance, and supports revenue growth. This role applies effective facilitation, coaching, and curriculum design methodologies to equip Business Solutions sales teams with the skills, tools, and confidence needed to deliver exceptional customer experiences and achieve business objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain outcome-oriented technical and sales training curriculum, including onboarding, product and portfolio education, sales methodology reinforcement, role-based learning paths, facilitator guides, participant materials, and ongoing reinforcement resources.
  • Leverage AI tools to create, refresh, and personalize training curriculum, enabling faster content development, more relevant learning experiences, and stronger support for evolving Business Solutions sales needs.
  • Equip new and tenured sales employees with practical AI skills that improve prospecting, pipeline management, workflow efficiency, and customer engagement throughout the sales process.
  • Facilitate engaging, high-impact virtual and in-person training sessions that build seller skills, confidence, business acumen, and readiness through strong facilitation presence, effective questioning, role play, coaching, practice, and actionable feedback.
  • Apply sound judgment to tune, adapt, and strengthen training curriculum based on learner needs, market conditions, business priorities, sales roles, and performance trends, avoiding a one-size-fits-all approach to development.
  • Assess training outcomes by analyzing KPIs, sales performance data, training results, learner feedback, and business trends to identify skill gaps, curriculum opportunities, and targeted interventions that improve seller effectiveness, readiness, adoption of defined sales behaviors, and business results.
  • Demonstrate deep understanding of the Business Solutions portfolio, customer insights, competitive positioning, messaging, value propositions, and use cases to help sellers translate technical capabilities into effective customer conversations.
  • Deliver technical training that builds a deep understanding of Business Solutions products, service capabilities, solution design considerations, implementation requirements, and how each offering impacts the customer's business, operations, experience, and outcomes.
  • Translate complex technical product information into clear, practical training that helps sellers understand customer pain points, align solutions to business needs, communicate value propositions, and position products with accuracy and confidence.
  • Maintain a strong sales perspective by understanding seller tools, processes, pipeline expectations, customer engagement challenges, sales motions, and field realities, and incorporating those insights into practical, relevant training experiences.
  • Support the implementation and standardization of sales methodologies, ensuring sellers understand how to apply common sales language, discovery practices, qualification methods, opportunity planning, objection handling, and deal progression techniques.
  • Partner with sales leadership, sales operations, product, marketing, and subject matter experts to align training priorities with business goals, product launches, portfolio changes, messaging updates, and performance improvement needs.
  • Provide coaching, reinforcement, and follow-up support to ensure training concepts are applied in the field and translated into measurable improvements in seller behavior, customer engagement, funnel quality, and revenue performance.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve training effectiveness, seller readiness, and sales execution, using confidence, leadership presence, and data-informed recommendations to influence stakeholders and drive continuous improvement.

What you bring to the table:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales enablement, technical training, sales training, facilitation, curriculum development, or a related field, preferably supporting business solutions, telecommunications, technology, or B2B sales teams.
  • Experience training sales professionals and engineers


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong facilitation skills with the ability to lead engaging virtual and in-person training sessions, manage group dynamics, encourage participation, and create an effective adult learning environment.
  • Knowledge of curriculum design and instructional development, including learning objectives, facilitator guides, participant materials, role-based learning paths, reinforcement plans, assessments, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Deep understanding of Business Solutions products, service capabilities, customer applications, value propositions, competitive positioning, implementation considerations, and customer impact.
  • Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, practical, seller-ready training that connects product capabilities to customer needs, business outcomes, and effective sales conversations.
  • Strong understanding of B2B sales processes, seller tools, funnel management, pipeline expectations, opportunity progression, customer discovery, objection handling, and field sales challenges.
  • Ability to support standardized sales methodologies and reinforce consistent use of common sales language, qualification practices, discovery frameworks, opportunity planning, and deal progression behaviors.
  • Outcome-oriented mindset with the ability to connect training activities to measurable business KPIs, including time to first sale, sales productivity, monthly recurring revenue, gross adds per seller, funnel coverage, seller readiness, and adoption of desired behaviors.
  • Strong data analytics skills with the ability to interpret performance trends, training feedback, assessment results, seller confidence data, and business metrics to identify skill gaps and recommend targeted training improvements.
  • Sound judgment to assess when curriculum should be standardized, customized, reinforced, or refined based on learner needs, business priorities, sales strengths, market conditions, and performance gaps.
  • Strong coaching and feedback skills with the ability to observe seller behavior, reinforce effective practices, address development opportunities, and build capability through practical application.
  • Ability to partner effectively with sales leadership, product, marketing, sales operations, and subject matter experts to align training priorities with business objectives, product launches, messaging updates, and field needs.
  • Strong communication skills, executive presence, confidence, adaptability, organization, and proactive leadership to influence stakeholders, improve training effectiveness, and support continuous performance improvement.
  • Ability to read, write and effectively communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straightforward, and professional manner.

Base Salary: The base range for this position is $100,000-$115,000 annually, plus opportunities for bonus and benefits, if applicable. The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, relevant skills, experience, and capabilities.
