The Business Relationship Manager will play a crucial role in acquiring, onboarding, and engaging independent and corporate veterinary practices. You will work closely with industry partner sales teams to drive lead conversions, manage sales funnels, and support practice onboarding. As we scale, you will contribute to enablement resources, CRM optimization, and customer onboarding processes to ensure seamless practice adoption.
This role requires a motivated, goal-driven individual who is comfortable balancing sales relationship management in a fast-scaling environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize CRM to track leads, sales pipeline progress, and customer engagement metrics.
- Provide feedback on onboarding and engagement processes, helping to refine and automate future workflows.
- Act as the main point of contact for all client day-to-day communication and oversight
- Collaborate with cross-functional counterparts to ensure you’re up to speed on the latest business initiatives for the Clarus Portal product and can communicate such initiatives to clients
- Analyze account performance and create presentations to deliver performance updates and optimization opportunities to key stakeholders
- Work with product and engineering on client feedback loop, bug identification and resolutions
- Work with onboarding and implementation to on-board new acquisition clinics
- Partner, communicate, and facilitate collaborative interactions with peer organizations to ensure objectives, tactics, and long-term strategies are aligned and executed appropriately to achieve business goals
- Responsible for developing and clearly articulating the value of our full partnership with decision makers to elevate mutually beneficial outcomes
- Candidate possesses professional and advanced presentation skills, focused on providing solutions for the customer
- Deliver on Key Performance Measures of primary assigned accounts through collaborative efforts
- Conduct quarterly business reviews ensuring that accounts understand the value of the Clarus Technology relationship and their performance relative to quarterly, semiannual, and annual growth expectations
- Troubleshoot and take the lead on resolving any account issues, shepherd, and champion resolution
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Sales-driven mindset with experience supporting lead generation and conversion.
- Strong organizational skills to track and coordinate high-volume customer interactions.
- Must be results oriented and able to work independently with little direct supervision
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement an accurate business plan
- Strong understanding of financial and business metrics
- Strong selling and negotiation skills
- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills; comfortable in front of Senior leadership contacts
- Excellent time and process management skills
- Experience in developing client facing reports with actionable insights and recommendations
- Strong working knowledge of entire Microsoft Office suite
- Interest in client relationship building and willingness to travel for client-facing events
- A strong desire to learn and define an emerging function in a rapidly growing and dynamic startup environment
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma and fifteen (15) years of experience in sales, account management with Animal Health industry; Or
- Bachelor’s degree in business, animal science or related field and ten (10) years sales, account management
- Demonstrated experience within US animal health industry landscape.
Other:
- Up to 40% travel.
- Must have valid driver’s license from state of residency.
- Must have and maintain vehicle, Insurance on transportation used for travel.
