Business Process Analyst

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Experienced or Senior Business Process Analystto join the Legacy MES Development & Support team 6 within the Manufacturing and Safety organization in Everett, WA or North Charleston, SC on First Shift.

This exciting opportunity will provide critical support and configuration management for our current Manufacturing Execution Systems (CMES and Velocity) to enable factory production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with professionalism and poise with suppliers, users, and other stakeholders across the business in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

  • Navigate ambiguous and complex issues with limited information in a timely manner.

  • Investigate business process, technical, and configuration issues for CMES/Velocity in partnership with IT and factory stakeholders to support manufacturing execution.

  • Navigate and interact with backend systems and tables to resolve technical and configuration issues for CMES/Velocity.

  • Develop and maintain expertise in CMES/Velocity system integrations, limitations and control policies.

  • Consult the business on current CMES/Velocity capabilities to inform enhancement and future system development.

  • Develop and maintain user guides, tipsheets, training content, and other communications material related to CMES/Velocity user access provisioning, audits, and other processes.

  • Manage User Access Control for customers in CMES/Velocity in accordance with Boeing data security policies.

  • Perform user audits of CMES/Velocity and role permissions; support other system related compliance activities.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • (Level: 3) Either 5+ years of experience using Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) 6 specifically, Velocity and/or CMES - in a Manufacturing, Quality, or Production Engineering role (ME, Planner, Analyst etc.); or, 5+ years of experience providing IT, configuration, or business process support to end users with the use of Velocity and/or CMES

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • (Level: 4) 7+ years of experience using Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) 6 specifically, Velocity and/or CMES - in a Manufacturing, Quality, or Production Engineering role (ME, Planner, Analyst etc.); or, 7+ years of experience providing IT, configuration, or business process support to end users with the use of Velocity and/or CMES

  • Customer service oriented with strong verbal and writing communication skills

  • Experience investigating root causes and finding solutions to complex technical problems

  • Proactive work style with ability to work independently and prioritize a high volume of tasks appropriately, staying organized & meeting deadlines

  • Proficiency with MS Suite (MS365, Outlook, Excel, PPT, Word)

  • Experience developing training content, user guides, web-content, and/or other relevant communication materials regarding software user support topics

  • Experience: using Azure DevOps, HCL Leap, and/or Tableau; writing test scripts; maintaining user access control for digital systems; and/or using SQL to query databases

  • Bachelors Degree or higher
