Full Job Description
As a Human Resources Business Partner, you will help strengthen the employer brand by leading talent priorities within your portfolio, fostering strong employee engagement, and supporting the development of the key people essential to the growth of our organization.

You will play an important role in:

  • Building strong partnerships with employees and managers at operational sites in the United States and Canada to support them in achieving their performance objectives and to promote HR services and programs;
  • Acting as the primary HR point of contact for managers and employees, and supporting managers in applying HR policies and managing day-to-day employee relations;
  • Acting as a change agent in a growth environment, representing Boralex's values and contributing to the development of transformation programs and initiatives that support the organizational culture;
  • Providing support and collaborating on various ongoing initiatives (transformation, culture, well-being, work environment, talent development, recognition, succession planning, compensation, incentives, development, inclusion, etc.);
  • Supporting leave management and HR legal compliance for employees based in the United States;
  • Proposing innovative solutions to enhance talent and team engagement and development;
  • Cultivating a rich employee and manager experience that reflects Boralex's values;
  • Contributing to placing people at the heart of the organization.


💡 To succeed in this position, you need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Industrial Relations, with a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of relevant HR experience;
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. labor laws and regulations, including FLSA and FMLA;
  • Demonstrated leadership and the ability to provide sound advice to support decision-making;
  • Strong organizational skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to create meaning;
  • Commitment to rigor, creativity, and empathy;
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and demonstrate agility to quickly adapt and adjust plans based on priorities and key indicators;
  • Strong analytical skills combined with creativity and an innovative mindset;
  • Willingness and ability to travel within Canada and to U.S. sites.

Compensation

The expected annual base salary range for this position is $89,000.00 -$103,000.00. This range includes the target value of the annual Short-Term Incentive Plan (STIP).

Your total compensation will vary depending on your experience, skills, qualifications, and work location. At Boralex, we strive to offer competitive and equitable compensation aligned with both the market and internal practices.
