JOB DESCRIPTION

Shape how we protect customers and strengthen dealer relationships across the auto business. In this role, you will turn performance signals and industry events into clear actions that reduce risk and improve outcomes. You will partner closely with Sales, Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Controls to drive timely decisions and sustainable fixes. If you enjoy solving complex operational problems and influencing through data and storytelling, you will find meaningful impact here.

As a Business Operations Manager in Chase Auto Business Oversight, you will help safeguard the dealer-related customer experience across originations and servicing while supporting strong, compliant dealer relationships. You will proactively monitor dealer performance, profitability, efficiency, and customer experience to identify risk and improvement opportunities. You will help us evaluate relevant industry and regulatory events and translate them into practical policy and process updates. You will work in a highly collaborative, action-oriented team that values integrity, clear communication, and disciplined risk management.

Job responsibilities

  • Monitor dealer performance using defined metrics to identify underperformance, outliers, and potential conduct or practice concerns
  • Escalate emerging risks, drive corrective action plans, and recommend relationship exit when appropriate
  • Track and report unperfected lien volumes and research internal and external systems to diagnose correctable errors
  • Deliver monthly reporting and escalations and partner with Sales and business teams to resolve root causes
  • Identify and implement process improvements, best practices, and productivity enhancements to improve operational efficiency
  • Assess negative media and industry events that may impact auto policies and procedures
  • Lead impact assessments, recommend policy or procedure changes, and manage execution of related process updates
  • Support new business models and engagements by partnering on dealer agreements and oversight frameworks from onboarding onward
  • Collaborate with functional partners to develop and enhance dealer monitoring processes that measure compliance with established requirements and guidelines

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 10 years of industry experience in auto finance spanning originations (sales, credit, funding) and risk management
  • Demonstrated expertise in titles management and collateral perfection, including electronic lien title and paper title processes
  • Proven ability to analyze complex business processes and identify operational and risk implications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience translating large datasets into decision-ready insights and presentations
  • Demonstrated commitment to a strong control environment and adherence to risk and control standards
  • Demonstrated ability to lead independently and collaboratively with integrity, accountability, and sound judgment

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Undergraduate degree
  • Experience with the Vitu Title Management System and title status code knowledge
