Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst to join the Technology Finance team. Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at . The Lead FP&A Analyst will be responsible for leading strategic finance partnerships with the CIO, line of business, and CFO organizations assuming accountability for allfinancial management and strategic reporting including; expense initiative analysis, tracking and reporting; monthly forecasting; month-end close processes for financials, headcount, and investment spend; cost allocation transparency; and executive reporting.

Strong technical abilities with knowledge of financial systems and related process workflows with the ability to simplify/analyze large data sets in order to tell the story behind the financials will be critical for this role. Additionally, this role will lead and influence enterprise-wide financial transformation initiatives, partnering with business and technology leaders to enhance financial processes, and optimize the financial operating environment across Business IT.

In this role, you will:

• Lead complex initiatives on matters related to financial research, analysis, and reporting.

• Make decisions in multi-faceted situations, providing advice and technical expertise on matters related to complex financial analysis and forecasting as well as economic research in support of management decision making functions.

• Research strategies and make recommendations for forward financial planning as well as enhancing reporting systems to support the production of financial reporting and analysis.

• Provide support to more experienced professionals in the management of budgeting analysis, forecasting analysis, variance analysis, variance commentary, reporting and reviews, and presentation and project preparation.

• Review and analyze complex technical challenges that require evaluation or multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors.

• Make decisions in maintaining effective and efficient reporting delivery that meets brand standards and internal control standards.

• Meet deliverables and drive new initiatives with solid understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

• Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

Desired Qualifications:

• Ability to communicate financial and business results to senior management.

• 5+ years of Financial Planning & Analysis experience.

• Strong P&L financial management and forecasting experience.

• Ability to translate and present complex data in a manner that educates, enhances understanding, and influences decisions.

• Ability to prepare executive-ready materials, support senior leader discussions, respond thoughtfully to follow-up questions, and continue building credibility through clear analysis, and sound judgment.

• BS/BA degree or higher in one or a combination of the following: Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or Reporting.

• Strong technical skills including Essbase, Microsoft Office suite.

• Demonstrated experience fostering strong partnerships, promoting teamwork, and influencing others.

• Strong critical thinking skills combined with strategic business focus.

• Sense of urgency, passion for results, and personal accountability for achievement.
