Summary

Join a high-impact analytics team where your work will shape data-driven decisions across the enterprise. You'll design and maintain high-quality datasets, lead requirements-gathering for reporting and dashboards, and deliver meaningful insights through advanced analysis and modeling. Your expertise will help ensure data integrity and drive smart, informed actions across the business.

This position requires working hybrid at either our Webster or Boston office locations. We are not considering Remote candidates for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Develop datasets that serve as sources for various reports and enterprise data marts.
  • Analyze datasets - perform exploratory analysis, data manipulation, or data modeling for deliverables.
  • Leads or facilitates meetings to translate business needs into clearly defined, well-documented, high-quality requirements to support future reporting and visualizations.
  • Provides consultative assistance to cross-functional teams and external departments working with data.
  • Assists in the development of complex ad hoc reporting.
  • Exercises discretion and applies critical thinking relative to analysis, planning, and/or implementation of critical business initiatives.
  • Provides prescriptive recommendations for action as part of reporting based on analysis of requested data.
  • Applies data best practices to ensure the quality and accessibility of assembled datasets


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or professional level of knowledge in a specialized field, or equivalent, related experience Required
  • 4-6 years of related experience or equivalent applied knowledge in analytics, reporting, or data roles.
  • Prior experience within Claims and Insurance environments strongly preferred, including familiarity with claims data, insurance operations, or related business processes.
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying, data analysis, and dataset development.
  • Basic to intermediate Python skills for analytics, automation, or modeling tasks.

Pay Philosophy: The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by several factors including skills, experience, education, certifications, and location. Some roles at Mapfre are eligible for commission and/or bonus earnings, in addition to salary, calculated based upon factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.

Salary Range $96,000 - $135,000
