Our BI stack includes Looker and Snowflake. Analysts build and maintain reporting in Looker and contribute to the BI modeling layer. Strong SQL skills, analytical thinking, BI experience, and sound judgment are the most important foundations for success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business questions, reporting needs, and decision points.
  • Gather and clarify requirements, asking follow-up questions to define the right analytical approach.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and self-service BI content in Looker.
  • Contribute to Looker modeling layer, including dimensions, measures, definitions, and usability.
  • Write SQL for analysis, validation, reporting logic, and business logic used to support production data models.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis to answer questions not covered by standard reporting.
  • Identify trends, explain performance changes, and communicate practical insights and recommendations.
  • Partner with Data Engineering to define business logic, validate data structures, and troubleshoot data issues.
  • Help maintain consistent metric definitions, reporting logic, and documentation.
  • Support business users in understanding reports, metrics, and available data.
  • Use AI-assisted coding and analytics tools where appropriate, while applying judgment and business context to validate outputs.

Requirements
  • Strong SQL skills for querying, analyzing, and validating data.
  • Experience building reports, dashboards, or self-service analytics in a BI platform such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to translate business questions into analytical or reporting solutions.
  • Understanding of relational databases, data warehousing concepts, or analytical data structures.
  • Ability to communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work with evolving requirements.
  • Curiosity about business processes and the ability to connect data findings to practical decisions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate, trusted reporting.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Benefits
  • Great health benefits for medical, dental, and vision
  • Company HSA contributions
  • Total compensation = competitive base + bonus
