Description

Markon is seeking a Business/Financial Manager to support our Intelligence Customer with Customer Account Management responsibilities for the SLA lifestyle.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of annual pricing and cost estimates.

  • Manage and maintain Service Level Agreements (SLAs) throughout their lifecycle, including creation, revisions, renewals, and closeout.

  • Serve as a primary liaison with customers to provide timely project cost proposals and ensure contractual compliance.

  • Support the development, tracking, and maintenance of project budgets; work with Government managers and project managers to provide updates and implement corrective actions as needed.

  • Prepare and review monthly financial statements and accruals to ensure data accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

  • Coordinate with Government finance offices and internal teams to reconcile expenditures and address discrepancies.

  • Support procurement actions through cost analysis, vendor coordination, and documentation review.

  • Maintain data integrity across financial and operational systems, ensuring information accuracy and consistency.

  • Develop and maintain program documentation such as concepts of operations (CONOPS), process flow diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and program plans.

  • Ensure all documentation adheres to established governance and quality standards.

  • Track activity status, monitor performance metrics, identify issues, and develop contingency or corrective action plans to ensure successful program execution.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field required.

  • 3–5 years of experience in financial management, program control, or customer account management (CAM), preferably within a government or contracting environment.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with financial management systems or ERP tools (e.g., Costpoint, Unanet, SAP) is a plus.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to prepare and interpret financial data and reports.

  • Familiarity with Service Level Agreements (SLAs), budgeting processes, and federal financial regulations.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.

  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to implement corrective actions proactively.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Salary RangeUSD $140,000.00 - USD $160,000.00 /Yr.The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
