Business Development Manager - Regional (Ohio region)
In this position, reporting to the Director of Sales and Applications, the Business Development Manager - Regional will be responsible for growing Integrion Automation business in pre-defined geographic territory (Ohio region), targeting industrial manufacturing clients, with a high focus on prospecting and developing new client business, but also managing new opportunities and growing existing accounts.
Business Development
Market research and identification of target accounts in defined geographic territory and actively reaching out to prospective client contacts.
• Communicate Integrion value proposition to clients though presentations.
• Develop an understanding of client needs through consultative selling approach.
• Opportunity qualification
• Maintenance of the sales CRM throughout the sales cycle.
Opportunity Management
• Manage and lead opportunities utilizing the Integrion sales process.
• Work with the client to gather all information needed by our Applications Engineering team to develop the proposal.
• Develop and execute the opportunity win strategy with input from applications engineering and management.
• Facilitate feedback from the client.
• Contract negotiations.
• Maintain and monitor bookings forecast.
Account Management
• Maintain regular contact and obtaining feedback from the client through the course of the project/program.
• Work with our Services group to ensure long term client success through understanding of their service and support needs and providing corresponding services offerings.
Qualifications:
• An educational background in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in selling custom automated solutions.
• Geographic location in Ohio preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A highly motivated self-starter.
• Willingness to travel within North America, up to 50% of the time.
Compensation:
• • 1% commission on top line sale, paid out quarterly as milestone payments are invoiced to the client.
