Job DescriptionBusiness Development Manager - Forensic ConsultingRole OverviewDrive revenue growth and profitability by promoting forensic consulting services within the Greater Calgary, Alberta area. Build and maintain strong client relationships, cross-sell services, and collaborate with district managers and experts to execute sales strategies and client events.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a geographic sales strategy targeting independent adjusters and regional insurance carriers.
- Build and nurture relationships with technical leaders, managers, and sales teams to sell all services within assigned accounts.
- Partner with Major Account and Legal Market teams to service key clients.
- Identify client/expert opportunities with District Managers.
- Drive growth through innovative marketing, events, and Continuing Education training.
- Coach expert teams on sales skills and tools.
- Collaborate with Marketing to promote experts and service capabilities.
- Own CRM data for assigned geography, tracking all activity.
- Stay current with company policies, procedures, and training.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements- Experience: 3+ years in insurance sales preferred
- Skills: Strategic sales, interpersonal, customer service, written/oral communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
- Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software, specifically SalesForce.
- Soft Skills: Teamwork, compassion, respect, integrity, accountability, and ethical conduct.
- Focus: Timely execution with a strong ROI mindset and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications- Existing client relationships in the assigned geography.
- Membership in local insurance associations/organizations.
EducationBachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
