Full Job Description
The Business Development Manager 6 First Mile Transport is responsible for driving business growth by identifying and securing new opportunities within inland transportation. The role focuses on expanding the customer portfolio, strengthening strategic client relationships, and delivering commercially competitive first-mile transport solutions that align with customer requirements, market trends, and the company's growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and secure new customers for First Mile Transport services.
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to negotiation and contract closure.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline to achieve volume, revenue, and margin targets.
  • Develop a strong understanding of Pakistan 2 transport landscape and key corridors.
  • Engage customers across industries and build long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Design competitive, customer-centric transport solutions, including bundled offerings.
  • Collaborate with operations, procurement, and finance to ensure feasibility and profitability.
  • Lead pricing discussions, tenders, and commercial negotiations.
  • Ensure smooth handover of won business to operations and align on SLAs and service scope.
  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and pricing benchmarks.
  • Provide regular pipeline updates, forecasts, and performance reports.

Profile & Experience

  • Bachelor 2 or Master 2 degree in Business, Logistics, or related field.
  • 5 - 8 years of experience in logistics, transport, or freight forwarding.
  • Proven experience in trucking or inland transport sales.
  • Strong understanding of Pakistan 2 transport network and corridor dynamics.
  • Experience working with BCOs, industrial clients, or freight forwarders is preferred.
