Job Description
The Business Development Manager is responsible for building relationships with clients and prospective clients in the development of new business and existing client retention through RFPs RFIs, and due diligence. This role provides comprehensive technical expertise, critical analysis and execution of client relationship and development activities and projects. Additionally, this role supports key strategies, communication, resources and deliverables throughout the client relationship and business development lifecycles, contributing to the achievement of acquisition and retention goals.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintains and builds relationships between the Company and Client/Prospective Client Vendor Management for new client sales and existing client retention
• Serves as a key resource for Executives and Executive Client Relationship Managers and collaborates with sales, relationship management, senior leadership and executive sponsors by evaluating and steering key strategies, messaging, project/initiative deliverables, resources and timelines
• Provides market-based competitor insights
• Maintains and manages technical resources
• Fosters partnerships with Marketing and Communications by sharing business needs and participating in design of client communications to fulfill client acquisition and retention goals
• Manages end-to-end execution of all RFPs, RFIs and due diligence requests from existing clients and prospective clients
• Promotes products, programs, and capabilities through the development of competitive proposals and sales presentations
• Serves as a peer liaison on products, systems, and processes
• Drives brand awareness and seeks brand opportunities
Education
• 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
Experience
• 7 or more years of experience (Preferred)
Supervisory Responsibilities
• This job has supervisory duties.

• In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Compensation
Based compensation offered for this role is $100,000-$177,150 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
***Total compensation for this role is comprised of several factors, including the base compensation outlined above, plus incentive pay (i.e. commission, bonus, etc.) as applicable for the role. ***
