Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Warehouse team to analyze processes and operations.
  • Identify and assess deviations in cost models and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Drive analysis with a financial mindset to optimize cost recharging models.
  • Support warehouse go-live by analyzing Business Case related to inventory and sales across brands.

What You'll Do

We are currently seeking a Business Controller NAM.  As a Warehouse Business Controller in Amer Sports Global Operations (AS GO) you will lead the cost planning, controlling and recharging process for our Warehouse services out of our new HUB in Pittston (PA). 

 

Main areas of responsibilities include:

 

  • Lead the warehouse Budget and Forecast process.
  • Consolidate, monitor and control warehouse costs vs budget & last year, highlight hot spots and proactively identify gaps with Business Areas/financial stakeholders.
  • Steer and communicate monthly and YTD warehouse cost reports in a regional organization.
  • Communicate and explain to the different Brands Controllers the cost allocation logic and its development.
  • Collaborate with the Warehouse team on process analysis, having a good understanding of the warehouse operations.
  • Identify and analyze deviations between the actual warehouse process cost and the cost recharging model, conducting the needed changes.
  • Drive data-based analysis with a financial mindset to reduce inefficiencies and ensure a fair price calculation in the cost recharging model.
  • Support the go-live and stabilization of the warehouse, providing analysis of the Business Case development regarding Inventory, Sales (per brand/channel) and ramp-up productivities.
  • Work with Operations KPIs like Outbound and Inventory units, fill rate, order structure and DSI.
  • Manage master data for global finance tools (OneStream and SAP).
What We're Looking For

This role requires a bachelor’s degree (MA, BA or equivalent) in Finance, Economics, or Business Management with focus on Controlling and/or data analytics or equivalent experience.  We are looking for an individual with 5 years of experience mandatory in a finance/accounting/controlling environment –experience in a logistic environment is a plus. 

 

Other qualifications include:

  • Fluent in English
  • SAP, Planning and Reporting tools, BI Analysis for Office & MS Office are mandatory
  • Strong numeric and analytical skills and paying attention to details
  • Good understanding of project management & change management
  • Good communicator
  • Ability to work in an intercultural environment
