JOB DESCRIPTION

You have a bachelors degree with at least 2 years of experience in loan trading and project management experience, with the ability to work collaboratively to define and execute new products and solutions to support client needs and address new business opportunities. This is the team for you.

As a Business Analyst - Trading Services within the Trading Services team at JPMorganChase, you will be responsible for delivery on strategic technology and process improvement initiatives in the Loan Trading space. This product space is experiencing significant growth in an area where JPMorgan has been the leader for more than a decade. 

 

You will work as product support for multiple loan trading applications, including issue tracking, user and stakeholder communications, and release planning and prioritization. You will also have ownership of technology product management including design, requirements writing, sprint planning/management and testing as needed.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Partner with Technology and Business groups to create innovative solutions to modernize our technology platform and drive operational efficiencies to maintain our position as a leader in the loan market. 
  • Work as product support for multiple loan trading applications, including issue tracking, user and stakeholder communications, and release planning and prioritization. 
  • Own technology product management including Design, Requirements Writing, Sprint Planning/Management and testing as needed.   
  • Responsible for Project Management functions including keeping all deliverables in clear and concise project plan, driving deliverables, and timely completion of milestones. 
  • Partner with multiple stakeholders across business units including Sales & Trading, Operations, Technology, Business Management, Loan Syndication and Risk and Controls to deliver results in a complex environment. 
  • Manage external vendor relationships, working closely to define roadmaps and enhancements to support JPMorgan’s businesses. 
  • Coordinate and lead meetings; host subgroup meetings, establish agendas, produce minutes, establish scorecards and ongoing status reports.

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • BA or BS degree.
  • 2+ years of relevant Loan Trading /Project Management experience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively to define and execute new products and solutions to support client needs and address new business opportunities.
  • Detail-oriented approach and excellent analytical skills: Strong attention to detail with a control mindset; takes ownership and is accountable for issues/risks and appropriate remediation.

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Knowledge of loan processes and systems (LoanIQ, ACBS, or S&P Platforms).
