Job Description

The Business Analyst (Sales Excellence Specialist) role applies customer-focused selling (CFS) tools and techniques to coach top opportunities at risk and leads small to medium scale sales improvement projects. The role also monitors and reports on the progress of sales excellence initiatives along with providing basic recommendations, maintains and continuously improves commercial model analytics to support data-driven decisions and cultivates effective relationships with internal/external partners to ensure the effective execution of sales excellence initiatives.

Your Role:

  • Lead the deployment of global and local sales excellence programs, training initiatives, and competency development efforts to drive alignment with organizational objectives. Partner with stakeholders to strengthen sales capabilities and support consistent adoption of best practices across the business.
  • Improve sales productivity and effectiveness by optimizing sales processes, methodologies, and funnel management practices. Drive behavioral change that enhances efficiency, accelerates performance, and supports sustainable business growth.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to market leadership teams, supporting commercial transformation initiatives and sales execution strategies. Collaborate with leaders to achieve key performance indicators and improve overall organizational results.
  • Coach and develop sales leaders to strengthen their effectiveness as independent coaches. Utilize customer-focused selling methodologies, including solution, value-based, and consultative selling, to improve opportunity management, increase win rates, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Lead sales improvement projects and monitor the performance of sales excellence initiatives through data-driven insights and reporting. Build strong relationships with internal and external partners while advancing commercial analytics that support informed decision-making and continuous performance improvement.

You're the right fit if:

  • You have a Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Economics or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in areas such as Sales Operations, Sales Excellence or equivalent OR no prior experience required with Master's Degree.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this .

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company27s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company27s main facilities, generally at the customers27 or suppliers27 locations.

This is an office role.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position in Colorado Springs, CO is $88,500.00 to $141,600.00

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
