Make an impact as we look to strengthen our Digital Solutions practice as a Consultant, Power Platform & D365 (AMS). This diverse team of professionals are responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions in an agile environment. As a trusted advisor, you may be asked to contribute as an individual or as a lead, but you are comfortable doing both. You will work directly with customers and work in collaboration with the broader technical team. This may include other Project Managers, Business Analysts, Product Managers, Developers, and Quality Assurance to ensure key timelines are maintained and project completion deliverables are met or exceeded.
Responsibilities- SharePoint Online (Office 365) Development and Administration
- Implement solutions using SharePoint and support D365 Mobile Apps, Canvas Apps and Power Apps integration
- Write unit, system, and integration tests achieving a high degree of functional coverage
- Use Azure DevOps to manage work planning, code repositories, pull requests and deployments
- Gather requirements, generating designs and implementing a final solution
- Task ownership and ability to work within deadlines / timelines and budgets
- Build and maintain application deployment pipelines for both cloud and on-prem components
- Be an active participant in Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint review and retrospective
- Perform code reviews to ensure best architecture and security practices and coding standards are followed
- Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes
- Contribute to application architecture decisions
- Mentor junior and intermediate developers through pair programming, code reviews, demos and lunch and learns
- Perform testing and technical troubleshooting
Skills and Experience- At least 5 to 8 years of experience
- Practical SharePoint Online product experience - configuring, administration, development and deploying solutions
- Experience developing SharePoint web parts, site templates, content types
- Experience of developing SharePoint sites / pages
- Experience of undertaking SharePoint BAU Admin activities
- Strong organisation skills and ability to prioritise, plan and multitask work assignments
- Ability to work intuitively, alone or as part of a team environment
- Excellent client facing experience and communications skills
- Strong practical knowledge of SharePoint Search Service, User Profile Service and other Service Applications
- Experience Integrating SharePoint with D365 components
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint Application models
- Good front end/CSS skills and experience
- Knowledge of identity and access management using latest industry standards (OIDC, OAuth, SAML)
- Experience of integrating SharePoint online with third party applications - using CSOM, JSOM, API etc.
- Bilingual (French) is considered an asset.
