Your role and responsibilities

The Business Analyst 2 is responsible for following general instructions to support the successful delivery of business projects and initiatives. This role works with minimal supervision to perform semi-routine tasks, resolve issues of limited to moderate complexity, and communicate project updates to stakeholders. The Business Analyst 2 contributes to project planning, data analysis, and process improvements, supporting team members in achieving project goals and business objectives.

Collect organize, and analyze project data to identify insights and trends with minimal instruction.

Support the preparation of project plans, schedules, and budgets by providing relevant data and analysis.

Assist in developing project proposals, bids, and estimates by contributing analytical support and documentation.

Monitor project progress, identify risks, and suggest potential solutions to ensure project timelines are met.

Prepare routine and semi-routine project reports, including dashboards, status updates, and financial summaries.

Support change management activities, including updating project scope and communicating changes to stakeholders.

Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and recommending corrective actions.

Business Process Analysis: Exposure to analyzing and describing business processes, with the ability to translate them into functional and non-functional IT requirements.
Requirements Development: Experience working with deliverables such as functional and non-functional requirements, use-cases, process models, and impact analysis to support IT solution development.
IT-Business Liaison: Exposure to acting as an interpreter between IT and business stakeholders, communicating business needs to IT teams and ensuring alignment.
Solution Development Support: Experience working collaboratively with IT teams to ensure solutions meet business requirements and are delivered effectively.
Impact Assessment: Exposure to assessing the impact of proposed solutions on business processes and operations, identifying potential risks and opportunities for improvement.

Preferred technical and professional experience
Process Modeling Techniques: Exposure to creating process models to support IT solution development, including the ability to analyze and describe business processes.
Use-Case Development: Experience working with use-cases to capture business requirements, with the ability to translate them into functional and non-functional IT requirements.
IT Solution Impact Analysis: Exposure to assessing the impact of proposed IT solutions on business processes and operations, identifying potential risks and opportunities for improvement.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
