What You Will Do:

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst to support the design, development, deployment, adoption, and measurement of innovative AI and technology solutions. Working within a cross-functional team, this individual will help identify and evaluate opportunities for AI, automation, data analytics, and digital transformation initiatives. They will partner with clients, data scientists, training and Organizational Change Management (OCM) teams, and end-users to define requirements, facilitate successful solution delivery, support adoption, and measure business outcomes. They will play an essential role in analyzing and documenting current-state business processes, identifying pain points and opportunities for improvement, and defining future-state processes and workflows. This role helps ensure technology investments deliver meaningful operational value.

Responsibilities may include but not limited to:

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build productive relationships across technical teams, business stakeholders, and end-users. Coordinate across client leads, technical developers, and end-users.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement and feedback loops to maintain alignment as product priorities, rollout activities, training efforts as project conditions evolve.
  • Monitor and triage stakeholder inquiries through shared communication channels.


Requirements gathering

  • Gather, document, and validate business, functional, and user requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, process walkthroughs, and document reviews.
  • Elicit needs and adoption barriers from end-users, supervisors, and other stakeholders.


Product Development & Delivery Support

  • Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, workflow diagrams, and acceptance criteria.
  • Document business processes, governance requirements, and operational procedures to identify pain points, inefficiencies, gaps, dependencies, and opportunities for process improvement to develop current-state and future-state process documentation and workflow analysis.
  • Maintain requirements and support traceability from initial business need through solution development, testing, and implementation.
  • Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, testing activities, and release readiness reviews.
  • Support feature prioritization by assessing stakeholder needs, business value, technical constraints, and user impact.
  • Assist in documenting risks, assumptions, limitations, and business controls associated with AI-enabled solutions.


Monitoring & Evaluation

  • Contribute to developing fit-for-purpose monitoring and evaluation frameworks and design, including KPIs and methods.
  • Support field-level monitoring efforts, which may include refining data collection instruments, gathering data (e.g., surveys, interviews, focus groups), and cleaning and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Synthesize information from documents, stakeholder inputs, and datasets to develop evidence-based findings and recommendations related to the adoption, effectiveness, implementation challenges, risks, opportunities for enhancements, and business impact of deployed solutions.


What You Will Need:

  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance
  • Bachelors Degree
  • FIVE (5) years of professional experience in technology, analytics, automation, digital transformation, research, or monitoring and evaluation-focused field.
  • Experience managing requirements gathering & synthesizing findings into actionable updates.
  • Experience translating business needs into functional requirements, user stories, workflow diagrams, and acceptance criteria.


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Knowledge of AI governance, responsible AI principles, and model evaluation practices.
  • Public sector or enterprise IT rollout experience.
  • Producing clear, operational writing (plain language, action-oriented).
  • Knowledge of consular operations or high-volume casework environments.
  • Data-informed adoption measurement (basic analytics).
  • Experience developing business process maps, workflow diagrams, and operating procedures.
  • Experience establishing repeatable processes (templates, standards, governance, cadence).
  • Facilitation skills (client meetings, workshops, leader briefings, office hours).
  • Training design and delivery across modalities (live & asynchronous).
  • Knowledge of SharePoint and Jira/Confluence.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies, including backlog refinement, and sprint planning.


The annual salary range for this position is $98,000.00-$163,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
