Full Job Description
As a Business Analyst Consultant for AG Consulting Partners, a typical day might include the following:
Documenting data relationships and write basic SQL statements
Implementing and managing standard testing procedures for system changes
Facilitating requirement sessions with team members and building comprehensive work products documenting requirements, including validation and traceability of requests
Facilitating user acceptance testing, documenting the test results, and helping procure business approvals
Working with business owners/SMEs to understand automation opportunities and analyze them to identify process changes that need to happen
Performing root cause analysis to identify solutions that address the true source of issues
Actively participating in project phases and report status updates to the Project Manager, including feasibility, requirements, development, quality assurance (QA), implementation, and maintenance

Requirements
You have:
Minimum of 6 years of experience in business analysis, business management, finance, or a related field
Minimum of 4 years of experience in ERP reporting tools (Workday, SAP, Oracle)
A minimum of 2 years of experience supporting Public Sector clients, including federal, state, or local government, and higher education institutions
Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
Strong knowledge of ERP modules and integration with reporting tools and third-party datasets
Experience communicating analytical outcomes through written communication to both business and technical teams
Proven ability to assess business needs and translate them into relevant solutions
Experience installing, configuring, documenting, testing, training, and implementing new applications and systems
Knowledge/experience with Agile methodologies
You might also have:
Experience with data analytics and visualization tools is a plus
Experience in creating Test case scripts for regression/functional testing
Proven project management experience, preferably with PMP or similar certification
