Position Description:

CGI is seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to support a client in the clinical/healthcare domain. This role will partner with business stakeholders, clinical subject matter experts, the Product Owner, UX/design teams, and Agile development teams to elicit, analyze, and document the requirements that drive a user facing front end application.
The Business Analyst will translate business and clinical needs into clear, actionable requirements and user stories, map current and future state workflows, and ensure that delivered features align with stakeholder expectations and an intuitive end user experience.
Clinical/healthcare experience and exposure to AI enabled application development are preferred but not required.

This position can be performed near any CGI US office.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

. Elicit, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements through workshops, interviews, and stakeholder sessions.
. Produce clear requirements artifacts - user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, process flows, and functional specifications - for a front-end application.
. Perform current state and future state process analysis, gap analysis, and impact analysis to inform solution design.
. Partner with the Product Owner to refine and detail backlog items, clarify acceptance criteria, and support backlog prioritization.
. Collaborate with UX/UI designers, front end developers, architects, QA, and business and clinical stakeholders.
. Define data and integration requirements for connecting front end experiences with backend services, APIs, data platforms, and AI enabled capabilities.
. Facilitate requirement walkthroughs and support sprint planning, reviews, and release planning.
. Support UAT by defining test scenarios and acceptance cases, coordinating validation, and helping triage and resolve defects.
. Maintain requirements traceability across stories, designs, and test cases, and keep documentation current as requirements evolve.
. Analyze user feedback, product KPIs, and outcomes to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

. 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role delivering software products.
. Proven experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation.
. Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
. Experience defining requirements for web based or user facing applications.
. Ability to translate business and user needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
. Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar backlog and tracking tools.
. Proficiency with requirements, diagramming, and documentation tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, Confluence).

Preferred Qualifications
. Experience in clinical, healthcare, life sciences, or health tech.
. Exposure to projects involving AI/ML enabled application development, including defining AI driven use cases and requirements.
. Understanding of APIs, backend integrations, data mapping, and data driven applications.
. Knowledge of clinical workflows, EHR/EMR, patient data, HIPAA, HL7/FHIR, or healthcare interoperability.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $79,600.00 $139,300.00.
