Full Job Description

The Sales Analyst, Amazon is an entry-level role within the Haleon commercial sales organization and serves as a key support partner to the Amazon Sales Team. This position is primarily responsible for supporting reporting and analytics processes, maintaining product catalog accuracy within Amazon’s Vendor Central, managing data uploads into Power BI dashboards, and assisting Sales Account Managers with deduction management and resolution.

Working closely with Sales Managers and cross-functional partners, the Sales Analyst transforms data into actionable reporting, supports business performance tracking, and helps ensure operational excellence across the Amazon business. This role provides broad exposure to Sales, Analytics, eCommerce, Customer Operations, and Business Intelligence, serving as a strong foundation for career growth within the Haleon Commercial Organization.

Role Responsibilities

Reporting & Business Intelligence

  • Own weekly and monthly Amazon reporting processes and dashboard refreshes.
  • Upload, validate, and maintain data feeds from Amazon Vendor Central and other data sources within Microsoft Power BI.
  • Develop and maintain standardized reports, scorecards, dashboards, and reporting templates.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of reporting to stakeholders.
  • Support reporting automation and process improvement initiatives.

Performance Analytics & Insights

  • Utilize Amazon Vendor Central, Power BI, Edge Market Share, Flywheel Commerce Cloud, Profitero, and internal reporting tools to monitor business performance.
  • Analyze sales, inventory, promotional, and operational metrics to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Develop actionable insights and recommendations to support business growth and operational improvements.
  • Assist in tracking promotional performance, sales trends, market share, and key performance indicators.
  • Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews.

Catalog Management & Data Administration

  • Own the maintenance and accuracy of product catalog information within Amazon Vendor Central.
  • Manage item setup, catalog updates, content changes, and ongoing data quality reviews.
  • Monitor catalog health and proactively identify and resolve data discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and Amazon contacts to support item lifecycle management and catalog compliance.
  • Ensure product information, attributes, and classifications are accurately maintained across systems.

Deduction Management & Sales Support

  • Partner with Sales Account Managers to investigate, resolve, and track customer deductions and chargebacks.
  • Perform root-cause analysis and gather documentation required to support deduction recovery efforts.
  • Maintain deduction reporting and monitor outstanding balances and resolution progress.
  • Identify trends that may help reduce future deductions and improve operational efficiency.
  • Provide administrative and analytical support for customer-facing initiatives and business reviews.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Customer Service, and other internal teams to support business objectives.
  • Communicate key business insights and report updates to stakeholders.
  • Support projects and initiatives that drive sales growth, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.
  • Build effective working relationships with internal partners and external customer contacts.
  • Contribute to process improvements and best practices across reporting, analytics, and customer operations.

  • Experience with Amazon Vendor Central, Power BI, Circana, NielsenIQ, IRI, Flywheel Commerce Cloud, Profitero, or similar reporting platforms.
  • Experience creating reports, dashboards, presentations, and data visualizations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Interest in eCommerce, retail analytics, consumer packaged goods (CPG), and commercial sales.

This role is located at our Warren, NJ office with a 3-day in-office requirement.

The expected salary range for this role is $79,825 - $119,737.
