Department:Psychiatry - Division of Addiction Research and Treatment Services (ARTS)Job Title: Business Administration Operations ManagerPosition #: 00811941 - Requisition #: 40131Job Summary:The Business Administration Operations Manager in the Division of Addiction Research and Treatment Services (ARTS) at the University of Colorado School of Medicine is responsible for accomplishing the day-to-day administrative functions regarding the Division's electronic health record operations and associated technical staff, managing data needed for reporting and compliance purposes, and overseeing the clinic office managers to ensure operational effectiveness. This position utilizes strong technical skills, business intelligence, and a deep understanding of clinical needs so that they can be transformed into application and operational requirements. The Manager oversees data collection and analysis in support of the Division's strategic plan under the direction of the Division Administrative Director.
Key Responsibilities:- Conducts research and benchmarking on specific topics as assigned.
- Responsible for overall clinic administrative operations through the Office Program Manager.
- Organizes and tracks operational processes and data collection.
- Reports FTE data and participating in practice evaluations as requested.
- Performs other related duties, including special projects, as assigned by the Division Administrative Director.
Work Location:Hybrid - this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week on-site at the Fort Logan campus in Sheridan, CO and as needed for in-person meetings at other locations.
Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in business, business administration, finance, accounting, healthcare administration, or directly related field from an accredited institution.
- A combination of education and related technical/military/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.
- Five (5) years of professional level experience in program management and administration that includes data analysis, reporting, budget administration, and financial activities of a clinical program.
- One (1) year of Netsmart deployment, application and infrastructure, experience in a healthcare setting.

Preferred Qualifications:- Master's degree in business, business administration, finance, accounting, healthcare administration, or directly related field from an accredited institution.
- Previous experience with business operations and management.
- Previous experience with performance management and supervision of IT staff.
- Experience with data management.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:- Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Ability to work with budgets and forecasts.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects in a matrix environment.
- Advanced ability to manage complex information and computer systems.
- Proficiency with Excel.
- Ability to problem solve, troubleshoot, and think critically.
- Strong technical skills coupled with business intelligence.

Anticipated Pay Range:The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as
$77,021 - $103,208.
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level.
