Full Job Description
As a **Senior Project Manager** for our Building Sciences/Environmental Health team, you'll support projects that help clients identify, evaluate, and manage hazardous material and building science risks. In this role, you'll contribute across the project lifecycle-from proposals and field execution to reporting and client communication-while helping deliver safe, high-quality work for projects in Eastern New England and across the country. The role is part of Atlas' Building Sciences practice within Environmental Health. Join a dynamic, value-driven, client- and community-focused environment where your work creates a lasting positive impact for the people and communities we serve. **Core Responsibilities** - Manage mold, asbestos, lead, indoor air quality, industrial hygiene and other Building Science projects in various settings. - Provide leadership, training and support to all levels of the organization. - Oversee junior staff, subcontractors, and multiple projects in a professional and efficient manner. - Interact and communicate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agency representatives in a professional manner. - Effectively communicate with direct supervisor and other Atlas team members - Read and understand project specifications, sampling methodologies, and building drawings. - Prepare budgets, technical proposals and reports and provide related quality assurance/quality control. - Ensure projects are completed safely in a timely manner and within budget constraints of the project. - Operate and maintain testing equipment and instruments including air-sampling pumps, real-time air monitoring equipment, moisture meters, IR cameras, and calibrators. - Abide by Atlas' health and safety policies and procedures - Approval to drive a company car or rental vehicles - valid Driver's License and ability to pass an MVR. - Ability to occasionally work off-hours and weekends (10-20% of time) - Regional (Eastern New England) travel is required. Out of region travel typically less than 10% but opportunities are available if interested in traveling outside of region. **You'll thrive here if you have** - Bachelor of Arts or Science degree preferred. Additional experience in lieu of degree considered. - 10+ years relevant experience: at least 10 years of experience as a Project Manager in the Building Science/Industrial Hygiene field. - Accomplished Client Manager with at least 5 years managing clients. - Experience with supervising others/direct reports preferred. - Experience with asbestos, mold, lead paint and industrial hygiene related projects required. - Must have a valid Driver's License, ability to pass a Driver Background Check, and have reliable transportation - Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, and work independently with minimal supervision - Licensed Asbestos Project Designer highly desirable. Asbestos Inspector, Asbestos Project Monitor and/or Asbestos Management Planner required. - Knowledgeable in Industrial Hygiene, Indoor Air Quality, Mold, and/or Lead. - Excellent Technical Writing, Communication, and Organizational Skills. - Proficient with Microsoft applications. - Knowledgeable of state and federal asbestos and lead paint regulations, particularly AHERA, NESHAP, OSHA as well as MA asbestos and lead paint regulations. - Ability to travel within Eastern New England up to 25% of the time. - Ability to work in a team setting. **What you can expect from us** The A-Team Experience is our employee program focused on helping our people thrive professionally, personally and as part of a community.
