A strong construction background and a desire to gain building code knowledge is essential to the success of the selected individuals.

- Perform field inspections of industrial, commercial, and residential buildings during various stages of construction to verify compliance with applicable California Building Codes and approved project documents.
- Issue written correction notices as required.
- Maintain basic record-keeping practices.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required.
- Perform all work consistent with BPR's and clients' policies and procedures.
- Provide all services in an efficient, proactive, and client focused manner.

Desired Qualifications:- Three (3) plus years as a building inspector or building plans examiner for a local or state building department or equivalent related experience.
- Must possess knowledge of building inspection and construction processes.
- Experience in the interpretation and application of building codes.
- Advanced knowledge of California Building Codes.
- Good driving record.
Certification Requirements: - Minimum of at least one ICC certification, preferably ICC Building Inspector and/or ICC Residential Building Inspector certification
Compensation:BPR Consulting Group offers competitive wages and has a strong benefit offerings. Pay range for this role is between $25-$55 per hour, depending on experience.
