This position can be based anywhere in the West Region (AK, WA, OR, CA, ID, UT, CO, NV, AZ, NM, MT) and will require 50% travel within the region.Our
Region Technology Experts provide expertise on building automation systems and third-party systems to region staff, as well as deliver training and technical support for field technicians and specialists and provide advanced technical assistance for sales activities.
As a Building Automation Systems Region Technology Expert, you will:- Diagnose, resolve, and report technical problems, network, software, and hosted-system malfunctions leveraging remote connectivity to expedite problem-solving with technicians and customers
- Collaborate with other Region Technology Experts to develop, share technical solutions, and maintain technical expertise on products, tools, and gateways through continuing education initiatives
- Coach Field Technicians on company systems, service offerings, and provide technical sales assistance, support, and product demonstrations on the latest company products to Sales Executives
- Stay current with building technology product documentation and communicate updates and design strategies to Field Technicians, Specialists, and Sales Executives
- Provide a comprehensive monthly report to management detailing all activities performed, including sales support, technical and application support, training, and mentoring
You will make an impact with these qualifications: Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or state-recognized GED
- 3+ Years of on-the-job experience in installing or servicing building automation controls systems
- Must be able to demonstrate:
- An understanding of the design of large, standard jobs and the role that tools, products, and practices play in that design
- Knowledge of industry engineering fundamentals and business operations
- Experience with Microsoft Office and engineering software applications
- Travel requirements up to 50%
- Must be 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations; must meet eligibility requirements to participate in Siemens' fleet vehicle program
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years' experience in installing or servicing building automation controls systems
- Microsoft, Cisco, EIT, ASHRE, NICET, or CISSP certifications are a plus
- Proficient in Bluebeam Revu 2017 or Adobe Pro preferred

The pay range for this position is $76,898 - $131,825 annually with a target incentive of 5% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
