Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000 / year
DescriptionWe are seeking a Project Manager with strong commercial HVAC experience and a proven track record managing projects valued at $500,000 or more. In this role, you'll lead projects from planning through completion, ensuring exceptional execution, customer satisfaction, and financial performance. Experience with building automation or controls systems is a plus, but not required.
Pay Range: $90,000-110,000+, negotiable based on experience
In addition to base salary, all locations include your choice of a company vehicle with gas card or a $700/month vehicle allowance with gas card.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all phases of building automation projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Track budgets, schedules, change orders, and documentation.
- Ensure project compliance with safety standards and industry regulations.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, engineers, and contractors.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders and company leadership.
Physical Requirements- Ability to travel to customer jobsites throughout the Tampa Bay area.
- Ability to walk active construction sites and access mechanical rooms, rooftops, and other work areas.
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders as needed.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to work in both office and construction site environments.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise- Strong working knowledge of commercial HVAC systems.
- Experience managing projects exceeding $500K.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with building automation or controls systems (e.g., DDC, BAS, Niagara, Tridium) is a plus, but not required.
- Experience as an MEP Project Manager in mechanical, electrical, or plumbing construction will be considered highly transferable.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field. Equivalent experience and/or relevant certifications will also be considered.
