Essential Job Functions:

Provide budget management support to include collection, development, and analysis of data for monthly and quarterly Comprehensive Cost and Requirement (CCaR) reviews.

Review funding request documents for completeness, accuracy, and to ensure compliance with specific funding guidelines within two business days of receipt of funding document.

Monitor, and track funds utilizing General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) and update the organization's tracking mechanism (spreadsheet or other tool) daily.

Track commitments within GFEBS and identify any inconsistencies with the Spend plan and report it to the Government Resource Manager on a weekly basis.

Track disbursements and provide a monthly status update to the Government Resource Manager using GFEBS Business Intelligence (BI) reports within three business days of the end of the preceding month.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Ability to obtain security clearance.

Twenty-four credit hours of Math or Business-related courses from an accredited college or Level III Defense Acquisition Workforce Improve Act (DAWIA) Certification in Budget Management.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in managerial accounting within a Program Management Office dealing with Government funding restrictions.

Former Military experience.

Desired Skills:

Experience using the Standard Operation and Maintenance, Army Research and Development System (SOMARDS); and General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) highly preferred.
