Full Job Description
> The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a full time Budget Analyst (GG-0560-13), performing as the 67th Cyber Wing Budget Officer and Civilian Pay Analyst, working at the 67th Cyberspace Wing (CW), Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA), Lackland Air Force Base (AFB), San Antonio, Texas.

This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) position aligned under authorities of Section 1601, Chapter 83 of Title 10, United States Code and DoD Instruction 1400.25-V2007.

Depending on the type of position (competitive/excepted) you are selected for, you will be required to serve a 1-year probationary period OR 2-year trial period.

Salary ($108,001 - $140,403) based on experience.

Qualifications/Requirements:

In this position you will serve as a budget analyst who is fully responsible for the overall technical aspects of the 67 CW budget and management of resources for specific programs and appropriations. The incumbent of this position may also provide advice and assistance to lower graded analysts in the office.

Must be a U.S. Citizen

Must be able to obtain & maintain a "Top Secret/SCI" Security clearance

This position is designated as a Drug Test Designated Position

The incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain Financial Management Level 2 certification requirements.

This position requires at a minimum, a bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Extensive knowledge of budgetary methods, practices, procedures, regulations, policies, and processes to formulate, justify, and execute assigned budget in support of the mission, structure, goals, work processes, programs of assigned activities/ organizations and skill in applying this knowledge to difficult and complex work assignments.
• Knowledge of automated data processing software programs and capabilities used to accomplish budget/funding tasks.
• Knowledge of security practices for ensuring the safeguarding of classified information.
• Comprehensive knowledge of OMB, congressional, and agency financial management and program objectives, budget precedents and controls, guidelines and regulations.
• Ability to apply analytical methods and techniques to evaluate program plans and funding which involves substantial resources and requires extensive changes in established concepts and procedures.
