  • Negotiate purchase prices while staying updated on market trends.
  • Collaborate with internal systems to source quality materials for customers.

Position Title:

Brokerage Representative

Pay Rate:

$102,800 - $125,600

"Compensation is commensurate with experience and qualifications."

Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range.

Physical Location:

Statewide Illinois

The Job You Will Perform:
  • Extensive cold calling to seek out and develop new account base.
  • Analyzing existing supplier recycling programs to maximize recovery and yield.
  • Develop and build relationships with new and existing suppliers. Gather market intelligence and develop a commercial strategy to manage the Midwest marketplace.
  • Develop and present both verbal and written recycling proposals to potential suppliers.
  • Conduct profitability analysis on existing and potential new suppliers.
  • Negotiates purchase prices and keeps abreast of market and supply trends.
  • Works closely with our internal mill system to source low cost, high quality OCC.
  • Works closely w/ our Export sales and domestic sales system to source supply for Key Customers.
  • Develops a clear understanding of customers' business and critical requirements through frequent visits to customers' facilities.
  • Handles customer complaints promptly and effectively.
  • Practices effective time and territory management.
  • Interfaces effectively with other departments and maintains open lines of communication with stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Four-year college degree in business with an emphasis in marketing
