As the BRIDGE Peer Support Supervisor, you'll lead a team of Peer Support Specialists who bring compassion, credibility, and lived experience to people navigating substance use and overdose-related challenges. You'll help ensure the program delivers high-quality, person-centered services while strengthening the partnerships that make coordinated care possible.

About the Role
The BRIDGE Peer Support Supervisor provides clinical and administrative oversight of BRIDGE Peer Support Specialists while helping guide the continued growth and effectiveness of the program.

BRIDGE is a peer-led partnership between the City of Greensboro's Community Safety Department and Cone Health. Peer Support Specialists receive referrals from Moses Cone Hospital, Wesley Long Hospital, and Behavioral Health Urgent Care (BHUC) and engage individuals during hospitalization before providing continued support after discharge.

As Supervisor, you'll ensure staff have the coaching, resources, structure, and professional development they need to deliver high-quality peer support and intensive case management.
What You'll Do
  • Supervise, coach, and support BRIDGE Peer Support Specialists.
  • Provide administrative and clinical oversight consistent with program practices and applicable standards.
  • Support implementation and ongoing improvement of BRIDGE programming.
  • Monitor service quality and identify opportunities to strengthen outcomes.
  • Provide professional development, training, and coaching to peer support staff.
  • Maintain strong communication and collaboration with Cone Health and community partners.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the Community Safety Department, Cone Health, and other stakeholders.
  • Represent BRIDGE at department meetings, community events, stakeholder meetings, and resource fairs.
  • Support outreach, education, and partnership-building activities.
  • Help develop and strengthen systems for care coordination, resource navigation, and harm reduction.
  • Contribute to program planning and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain a limited caseload as needed to support service continuity and respond to periods of increased demand.
  • Help ensure BRIDGE remains responsive to the evolving needs of Greensboro's community.
