Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET-accredited civil, structural or equivalent engineering program
• Oklahoma Professional Engineer (PE) Registration with ability to obtain licensure through reciprocity
• 10+ years of related bridge design experience with a focus on project and staff management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD software; MicroStation and Open Roads design are highly preferred
• Knowledge of ProjectWise and AASHTOWare Project is beneficial; experience with Bridge Inspection & Design software preferred
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills with a background in client relationship management
• Self-motivated and capable of adapting to virtual collaboration tools

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the Oklahoma Bridge Design section focusing on utilization, growth, and talent management
• Plan and deliver complex transportation structural engineering projects on-time and within budget
• Create and oversee scopes of work and budgets for bridge and highway projects for ODOT and local agencies
• Monitor financial aspects of projects including invoicing, budget status, and monthly reporting
• Develop business development plans for the bridge design section and maintain client relations
• Collaborate with leading bridge designers to deliver notable bridge projects nationwide
