Full Job Description
Are you ready to take on an exciting leadership role at our Vancouver/Victoria location? We are looking for a dynamic Branch Manager to oversee safety, sales, operations, profitability and administration. Reporting directly to the Regional Director - West, you will play a crucial role in driving our branch’s success. We value candidates with a background in heavy equipment crane and rigging operations, with experience in commercial sales. The ability to build strong relationships with internal teams, potential customers and key stakeholders will be crucial for the successful applicant. LOCATION: Preference for successful applicants to be local to Vancouver region. Vancouver Office: 10 Burbidge St, Coquitlam, BC V3K 5Y5 Victoria Office: 702 Industrial Way,Langford, BC V9B 6E2 HOURS: Monday through Friday, within business operating hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM MST (40 hour/week). Responsibilities (including but not limited to): 3 Promote safety best practices in all aspects of branch operations. 3 Manage all branch operations including P&L, sales, administration & contracts. 3 Manage project sites and ensure that lifts are completed safely and efficiently. 3 Manage branch fleet (light and heavy-duty equipment), including preventative maintenance. 3 Improve existing customer relationships and develop new strategic relationships. 3 Improve market share in operational areas. 3 Champion continuous improvement and lean initiatives in branch operations. Qualifications: 3 High School diploma or equivalent is required. Post-secondary diploma (in business administration, management, finance, engineering, safety, sales or equivalent) is considered an asset. Project Management Certification (PMC) is considered an asset. 3 A minimum of 5 years of heavy equipment operational leadership at the branch level with proven, progressive leadership experience. Experience in crane and rigging operations is considered an asset. 3 Strong interpersonal, communication and conflict resolution skills. 3 High attention to detail and ability to multi-task within a fast-paced work environment.
