We are seeking a Branch Executive to lead the daily operations, staff, and strategic growth of a YMCA branch serving the Lehigh Valley community. This role provides leadership across membership, health & wellness, aquatics, facility operations, and community engagement while ensuring an exceptional member experience and advancing the YMCA's mission.

What is needed for this job as our Branch Executive:- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sports Management, Health, Human Services, or a related field, or equivalent leadership experience
- Experience leading multi-functional teams in recreation, fitness, aquatics, hospitality, nonprofit, or similar service environments
- Experience managing budgets, financial performance, and operational goals
- Experience supervising, coaching, and developing staff
- Ability to build relationships with members, community partners, and volunteers
- Proficiency with Google Workspace or similar business software
- CPR, Lifeguard, and other required YMCA certifications, or the ability to obtain within established timeframes
The responsibilities we will trust you with as our Branch Executive:- Provide strategic and operational leadership for all branch operations, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and mission-driven environment
- Oversee membership, health & wellness, aquatics, and facility operations to deliver exceptional experiences for members and program participants
- Lead initiatives that drive membership growth, program participation, retention, and community engagement
- Recruit, develop, supervise, and support high-performing staff and volunteers
- Manage branch scheduling, staffing, and operational performance
- Develop and monitor operating budgets while achieving revenue, expense, and net operating goals
- Ensure YMCA policies, safety standards, licensing requirements, and risk management practices are consistently followed
- Build partnerships with community organizations, schools, businesses, and local stakeholders
- Support annual fundraising campaigns, special events, and strategic Association initiatives
- Analyze operational performance and implement continuous improvements across branch programs and services
- Serve as Manager on Duty and respond to facility, member, staff, and emergency situations as needed
