As part of the Strategy and Technology Group, the Program Management Office (PMO) enables the successful execution of Enterprise Operations strategy through innovative program management solutions and technical expertise. By leading transformational initiatives and aligning cross-functional teams, we drive operational excellence and create enterprise-wide impact. The BP Program Manager will lead and coordinate Warsaw site activities across multiple strategic programs and projects. This role is responsible for driving execution excellence by managing project interdependencies, mitigating risks, coordinating site priorities, and ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams.

The position serves as a key liaison between site leadership, functional teams, and the PMO organization, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with quality and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will drive measurable business and operational outcomes while fostering collaboration and accountability across stakeholders.

This role will be based onsite 4+ days/week at our Warsaw facility

  • Provide site-level portfolio coordination, balance project priorities across multiple strategic initiatives, and ensure optimal resource utilization to achieve business objectives
  • Lead and manage all phases of program and project execution, including feasibility, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, in accordance with PMO governance standards and business processes
  • Direct site-level project execution for multiple concurrent initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and operational priorities
  • Identify, assess, and manage project interdependencies, risks, issues, and resource constraints to enable successful execution
  • Serve as the primary interface between project teams, site leadership, functional departments, and PMO stakeholders
  • Lead cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones while ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives
  • Develop and maintain integrated project plans, resource forecasts, risk mitigation strategies, and executive-level status reporting
  • Review project performance metrics and financials, proactively addressing variances and implementing corrective actions when required
  • Manage end-to-end project execution, including manufacturing facility readiness, equipment and line qualification, process implementation, technology transfer, and operational deployment activities
  • Drive effective decision-making through structured problem solving, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement
  • Establish monitoring and governance mechanisms to track progress, escalate risks, and support timely issue resolution
  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across project teams
  • Minimal travel as needed


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of experience OR advanced degree and 3+ years of experience
  • Experience leading projects, programs, and/or teams
  • Experience working within regulated industries, preferably medical devices, or similarly regulated environments


Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in Industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, Product Development, Operations, or Technical Program Management
  • Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional programs involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, governance frameworks, and portfolio execution principles
  • Experience supporting medical device product development, commercialization, sustaining engineering, or manufacturing operations
  • Working knowledge of Design Controls, FDA Quality System Regulations, ISO 13485, and related regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with manufacturing automation, advanced manufacturing engineering, process development, equipment qualification, and validation
  • Proven track record leading technology transfers, process scale-up initiatives, manufacturing readiness activities, and site implementation projects

PMP, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent project management/process improvement certification

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. A7 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$120,000.00 - $180,000.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).
