Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. in life sciences or related field with 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Understanding of clinical trial processes and transaction-based inventory systems
• Knowledge of ICH, GCP, GLP, and local regulations
• Proficient in Excel, including macro and template functionality
• Experience with LIMS systems, particularly StarLIMS
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• High attention to detail with excellent multi-tasking abilities

Responsibilities

• Manage biospecimen lifecycle from receipt to final analysis and disposition
• Ensure accuracy of specimen metadata
• Facilitate data transfer to clinical repository
• Enhance efficiency in specimen management by sharing best practices
• Lead or participate in special projects as assigned
• Review study protocols and service provider scopes for sample processing
• Set up studies and electronic protocols in LIMS
• Create and oversee project plans
• Coordinate data transfer with analytical labs
• Address and resolve metadata discrepancies
• Submit specimens for assays according to study timelines
• Keep study teams updated on specimens and data status
• Generate reports on specimen status and data completeness
• Contribute to meeting database locks for final results and data transfer
• Support manager with long-term planning projections
