Bilingual English/Spanish required | Licensed Social Worker - Professional Counselor - Marriage and Family Therapist The Basics- Location: Orlando area (zip code 32837)
- Salary + Bonus: $73,500 - $112,500 annually (depending on experience and bonus opportunities) PLUS $2,500 Bilingual stipend
- Schedule: 8-to-5, Monday through Friday, no charting after hours
- Reporting to: Clinical Manager
You'll be embedded on-site in a kidney care clinic, supporting dialysis patients who face unique mental health challenges, emotional stress, and difficulty adhering to complex treatment. As a core member of the integrated care team, alongside the dialysis team, nephrologists, and social workers, you'll see patients in person and virtually.
The Job You'll Do - Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and diagnose using validated screening tools and clinical evaluation.
- Provide brief, evidence-based interventions tailored to kidney care (e.g., CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy).
- Develop individualized care plans and review them collaboratively with nephrology and the care team.
- Participate in interdisciplinary case conferences, including consultation with a psychiatric consultant, and communicate recommendations to the team.
- Facilitate referrals to evidence-based psychosocial services when clinically indicated (e.g., grief support, psychiatric providers, medication-assisted treatment).
The Right Fit - Active independent Florida license (LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT): in good standing, with a Master's or higher in a clinical behavioral health field.
- Minimum two (2) years of clinical experience with patients who have co-occurring mental health, chronic medical, substance use, and physical health challenges.
- Bilingual English/Spanish: able to provide therapeutic services in both languages.
- Demonstrated experience supporting patients and families facing serious illness, end-of-life concerns, grief, and loss (e.g., hospice, palliative care, oncology, long-term care).
