Responsibilities

Full Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated Bilingual (English/Spanish) Safety Manager, who is passionate about the construction process. This person will lead and support safety initiatives across multiple job sites. This role will work out of our King of Prussia, PA office and will serve as a key resource to ensure compliance with safety regulations, provide field trainings, and foster a culture of safety throughout the construction process in our self-perform Concrete business. The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator and collaborative problem-solver who thrives in dynamic field environments.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • Create and lead training to individuals and groups on a variety of risk management subjects in both office and field settings.
  • Provide on-the-spot job site training to superintendents, subcontractors, and associates as needed.
  • Attend preconstruction meetings and other project meetings as required.
  • Lead weekly/monthly safety portion of preconstruction and other operation meetings throughout the construction process.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections of assigned projects and publish reports for internal improvement and compliance.
  • Work closely with Superintendents, Project Managers, and Subcontractors to ensure compliance and best practices with various safety policies while ensuring valued engineering through the construction process.
  • Partner with Project Managers when reviewing engineered plans/drawings for safety hazards
  • Visit and serve as an ongoing point of contact to 15+ job sites nationwide monthly and provide support throughout the construction process.
  • Conduct formal investigations into work-related incidents to determine the cause and corrective actions.
  • Maintain a current knowledge base of Local, State, and Federal safety and health regulations with specific requirements.
  • Travel to jobsites approximately 2-3 days/week (Monday - Friday) to Construction Project Sites Locally and Nationwide, including outside of standard business hours and out of state travel as required and needed.

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years' of Safety and Health Experience preferred
  • Prior Construction Experience is required.
  • Forklift and MEWP (aerial lifts) instructor training a plus.
  • BS in Occupational Health and Safety or closely related field is preferred.
  • STS, CHST, CSP or similar certification(s) preferred
  • OSHA 500/510 certification a plus
  • Possess and maintain a current, valid driver license in your state of residence
  • Travel to jobsites approximately 2-3 days/week (Monday - Friday) to Construction Project Sites Locally and Nationwide, including outside of standard business hours and out of state travel as required and needed.
