Zurich Canada is currently looking for a Bilingual Executive Recruiter, Talent Intelligence & Strategic Sourcing Partner to lead executive recruitment while serving as the enterprise sourcing and talent intelligence expert for the Talent Acquisition team.
Reporting to the AVP, Talent Acquisition, you will be a key member of Zurich Canada's Talent Acquisition Centre of Excellence.
Working closely with Executive Leaders, Hiring Managers, HR Business Partners, Talent Management, and Global Talent Acquisition, you will proactively identify exceptional talent, build executive and critical talent pipelines, deliver market intelligence, and provide workforce insights that support strategic hiring decisions. Through executive search, enterprise sourcing, and predictive talent intelligence, you will strengthen leadership capability, reduce agency reliance, elevate recruiter effectiveness, and help position Zurich Canada as an employer of choice.

What you will do:
Executive Recruitment
• Lead end-to-end recruitment for executive, senior leadership, and critical business roles across Zurich Canada.
• Develop and execute strategic executive search strategies aligned with business priorities and future capability needs.
• Partner with Executive Leaders, Hiring Managers, and HR Business Partners on confidential executive recruitment, succession planning, and leadership hiring.
• Deliver a best-in-class candidate and hiring leader experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
Enterprise Strategic Sourcing & Talent Intelligence
• Serve as the enterprise strategic sourcing partner supporting Talent Acquisition across all business functions.
• Build proactive and evergreen talent pipelines for executive, niche, technical, and difficult-to-fill roles before business demand exists.
• Conduct talent mapping, competitor research, labour market analysis, and market intelligence to inform hiring strategies.
• Leverage LinkedIn Recruiter, AI-enabled sourcing technologies, networking, and market insights to identify and engage exceptional talent.
• Produce talent intelligence reports highlighting market trends, competitor activity, emerging skills, talent availability, and sourcing opportunities.
• Reduce agency reliance through proactive sourcing and strategic pipeline development.
Strategic Partnership
• Act as a trusted advisor to Executive Leaders, Hiring Managers, and HR Business Partners.
• Influence hiring strategies through workforce insights, labour market intelligence, and external talent data.
• Partner with Talent Management and Global Talent Acquisition to strengthen leadership pipelines, succession readiness, and enterprise talent strategies.
• Coach Talent Acquisition Partners on executive search methodologies, advanced sourcing techniques, and talent intelligence best practices.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
• Evaluate emerging sourcing technologies, AI capabilities, and talent intelligence tools to improve recruiter productivity and hiring outcomes.
• Share sourcing innovations, market insights, and best practices across the Talent Acquisition team.
• Contribute to the continued evolution of Zurich Canada's Talent Acquisition Centre of Excellence through innovation, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing.
What you bring to the table:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree and 8+ or more years of experience in Recruiting
• Demonstrated success recruiting executive, leadership, and specialized talent through proactive sourcing and market engagement.
• Proven experience building proactive talent pipelines and conducting talent mapping, competitor research, labour market analysis, and talent intelligence.
• Experience supporting strategic workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational growth initiatives.
• Advanced sourcing expertise using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search techniques, AI-enabled sourcing technologies, and modern talent intelligence platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage market intelligence, talent data, and external insights to influence hiring strategies and business decisions.
• Experience assessing talent through skills, capabilities, and future potential, with an understanding of skills-based hiring and internal mobility.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to align talent strategies with organizational priorities.
• Exceptional communication, analytical, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
• Demonstrated ability to influence Executive Leaders, Hiring Managers, and HR Business Partners as a trusted advisor.
Preferred:
• Executive search firm or in-house executive recruitment experience.
• Insurance, financial services, or other highly regulated industry experience.
• Experience with SuccessFactors, Phenom, LinkedIn Recruiter, LinkedIn Hiring Assistant, or similar ATS, CRM, and talent intelligence platforms.
• Knowledge of workforce planning, succession planning, organizational capability, and talent analytics.

At Zurich Canada, we are committed to pay equity. We determine compensation based on objective criteria such as skills, experience, and internal equity. The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $125,000. This range reflects the expected pay for the role across Canada and may vary depending on factors like office location, specific responsibilities, and individual qualifications. As required by local law, Zurich provides in good faith a reasonable compensation range, but starting salaries may exceed this range based on a candidate's skills and experience.
