Full Job Description
Position: Behavioral Respite Program Manager

Pay Range: $95,000-$105,000 PER YR

Reporting To: VP of Clinical & Direct Care Services

Work Type: On-site

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Behavioral Respite Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, staffing, service delivery, and overall performance of the Behavioral Respite Program. This role provides supervision and support to Behavioral Respite Professionals and other team members, ensures services are delivered in accordance with client needs, agency standards, and regulatory requirements, and serves as a liaison with Regional Center partners. The Program Manager also supports program growth, staff training, compliance, documentation, and quality assurance efforts.

  1. Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, education, or another related field
  2. Minimum 3 year's experience in a management position in a human service related field
  3. Minimum 2 year's experience providing staff training, supervision, and planning.
  4. Expertise in the coordination of intensive services both in a clinic and community setting
  5. Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
  6. Familiarity with principles of family-centered, strengths-based services.
  7. Comfortable in diverse home environments and culturally responsive
  8. Ability to work independently and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following is a representation of the major duties and responsibilities of this position. The agency will provide reasonable accommodation to allow otherwise qualified applicants with disabilities to perform essential functions.
  1. Manage and oversee all branch functions for each department and all clinical and administrative staff
  2. Supervision of Behavioral Respite Professionals delivering behavior management and respite relief
  3. Manage a caseload
  4. Ensure 90% of services are being provided, utilization review
  5. Ensure HIPPA compliance is understood, implemented and reinforced in the department
  6. Ensure all data collection is maintained and collected in an ethical manner
  7. Complete and submit Special Incident Reports to VP of Clinical Care
  8. Liaison with Regional Center
  9. Directly contribute to growth of the office
  10. Ensure all progress reports are submitted timely
  11. Overlap and provide additional training to Behavioral Respite Professionals in the field and as needed
  12. Ensure branch is fully staffed at all times
  13. Actively participate in hiring and promotion process
  14. Driving may be required throughout territories we services.
  15. Conduct all functions in accordance with agency guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  16. Perform other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel and use of hands and fingers to operate computer, telephone, and keyboard on a frequent basis (Up to 75% of the time).
  • Close vision requirements due to computer work.
  • Light to moderate lifting may be required (up to 25lbs).
  • Driving (up to 10% of the time).
