Position Summary:

The Geriatric Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) provides advanced practice psychiatric care to older adults experiencing mental health conditions, cognitive disorders, and behavioral disturbances. The practitioner conducts comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, develops and manages individualized treatment plans, prescribes psychotropic medications, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and quality of life.

Education and Licensure:
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) by the ANCC.
