Beef Category Manager-Specialty Brands

Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for a Category Manager for the JBS Beef USA Specialty Brands Team that reports to the Corporate Office in Greeley, CO. Consistent with our mission to be the best, the JBS Beef USA Specialty Brands Team leads the development & growth of our Elite Prime, Angus Beef, Wagyu, Grassfed, Organic & Natural beef brands. Reporting to the Head of Business Development, you will be responsible for the strategy, planning, implementation and day-to-day execution for supply chain planning for our elite prime, grassfed, organic & natural programs.

Responsibilities:
  • Support category performance for Grass Fed, Wagyu, Organic, and CAB programs by assisting with product mix, customer alignment, and margin improvement.
  • Help determine appropriate production plans, plant locations, and customer allocations based on program standards and operational capabilities.
  • Assist in maximizing carcass utilization by monitoring inventory, identifying opportunities, and supporting cross-functional decision-making.
  • Coordinate with production teams across multiple facilities to ensure the right items are produced to meet demand.
  • Support weekly production limit setting, fabrication priorities, and allocation updates based on demand and cattle availability.
  • Provide weekly headcount needs and program requirements to the cattle procurement team.
  • Participate in demand planning, forecasting, and S&OP processes by preparing data, aligning inputs, and supporting plan execution.
  • Assist in maintaining pricing structures, overage strategies, and program-specific pricing models in partnership with pricing and sales.
  • Help monitor forward-sold and spot-sold positions and support actions needed to manage exposure and move product efficiently.
  • Manage NPR creation and updates, ensuring product codes remain accurate and aligned with customer and program needs.
  • Coordinate sample requests, new item setup, and product evaluations with marketing, sales, and operations.
  • Maintain accurate pricing sheets, program documentation, and reporting tools to support leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Data Science, Economics, Finance, Meat Science, Agribusiness or related area is strongly preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in supply chain, production planning, category management, or commercial support roles (protein or food industry experience a plus). Previous scheduling, demand planning, program management experience preferred.
  • This position requires ability to travel (10%).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and support decision-making across production, pricing, and inventory.
  • Solid understanding of supply chain fundamentals, forecasting concepts, and basic financial drivers such as margin, yield, and cost structures.
  • Proficiency in Excel and data systems; ability to maintain pricing sheets, NPRs, and reporting tools with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Effective communicator able to collaborate across procurement, production, sales, marketing, and scheduling teams.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a willingness to learn, ask questions, and support continuous improvement initiatives

  • Base salary range of $80,000-$110,000
  • Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company's annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program; and
