Full Time BCBA Clinician Needed at a Private Special Education School in Providence, RI called The Groden School!

Schedule: Monday-Friday; 8:00AM- 4:00PM

Base Pay: $75,000 - $100,000 Annually (based on education & experience)

$3,000 Sign-On Bonus!

Excellent opportunity available for a BCBA Clinician to provide clinical services in a school for children and adolescents grades K-12 with autism and other developmental disabilities. Clinicians direct behavioral assessment, supervise clinical work of teachers and direct care staff, are involved in testing and development of IEP goals and objectives for skill acquisition, work with families, and advocate for the people we serve.

Our team includes Special Education Teachers, an Adapted P.E. Teacher, Teacher Assistants/Classroom Behavior Specialists, other BCBAs, a Psychologist, Speech and Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Family Support.

We offer yearly attendance at BABAT, and the potential for attendance at other conferences. You will have opportunities to supervise BCBA trainees, work collaboratively with our Residential team, participate in research, and other opportunities for growth within the school and across the Groden Network.

Job Description:
  • Provide routine nursing support to Halcyon Day/Vocational Program along with residential group homes in Southeastern Massachusetts (Attleboro, North Attleboro, Easton, North Dighton, and Taunton)
  • Responsible for monitoring medication administration, and on-going health status of program clients
  • Monitor supervision and coordination of medical needs and the health status of program clients
  • Ensure that programs are compliant with State and Federal regulations regarding health and safety
  • Communicate healthcare information to families and/or residential providers
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate healthcare services related to individual needs
  • Assist and train staff in medical knowledge and medication audits


Education, Experience and Special Skills:
  • Must maintain an active BCBA certification and licensure in the State of Rhode Island
    • Preference to those with dual licensure in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts
  • Minimum of One year of experience working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities in a school setting preferred
  • CPR/First Aid Certification (preferred, but we can assist in getting certified if needed)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software preferred
  • Familiarity of MAP certification & Safety Care Certification is preferred (training will be provided if needed)
  • Potential to provide clinical supervision of one BCBA practicum/internship/trainee per year
