Ability to read and create layout drawings for system installation.
Responsibilities
Develop and optimize building automation system designs.
Create and review BAS submittals and ensure compliance with specifications.
Collaborate with external stakeholders including engineers and contractors.
Generate Bills of Material for projects.
Facilitate RFI processes to troubleshoot and resolve design challenges.

Full Job Description
Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or a related technical field. Prior work experience (8+ years) in the building automation field can supersede a degree.
4+ years' experience in building automation systems controls or building automation management systems.
4+ years' experience producing BAS submittals in any BAS platform,
4+ years' experience working with AutoCAD and/or Visio.
2+ years' experience designing and engineering HVAC control systems, including developing sequence of operations and equipment selection.
2+ years' experience with generating and managing RFIs (Requests for Information) to resolve design issues.
Proficiency with reading and creating layout drawings to guide system installation (e.g., sensor locations, panel placement).
Experience interacting with external stakeholders, such as consulting engineers, contractors, and building owners.
Experience with developing Bills of Material (BOM).
